ACRO Inc. (Academic Contract Research Organization) is a hospital-contracted CRO that supports the clinical research of university hospitals. Working alongside hospital clinical trial centers, ACRO places dedicated research teams where patients, investigators, and clinical data come together — combining academic rigor with hands-on clinical research execution.
Its work rests on four core competencies. Medical Affairs covers project planning, consulting, and medical writing; Biostatistics covers statistical analysis and real-world evidence generation; Digital Data Flow (DDF) covers data standardization, data management, and digital transformation; and Regulatory Science covers regulatory strategy, health technology assessment, and reimbursement.
Today ACRO works on a consulting-centered model across government research projects, investigator-initiated research, real-world evidence generation, and early-phase trials. Its direction is to grow — through industry–academia–hospital collaboration and digital-transformation-driven research efficiency — into an end-to-end partner across the full drug development lifecycle, from non-clinical through clinical to post-marketing.

Corporate Research Institute established (government-accredited)
Government-accredited corporate research institute registered with the national industrial technology association — formalizing ACRO's methodological and research capability as a standing research function.
In residence at Chonnam National University Hwasun Hospital
ACRO's research and biostatistics team co-located within the clinical trial center of a tertiary university hospital — placing the company where patients, investigators, and clinical data come together.
Government-commissioned research project awarded
Selected to carry out a government-commissioned research project for a national public-health research institute — ACRO's first publicly funded research engagement.
Registered as a specialized research-service provider
Formally registered as a specialized research-service provider under the Research Industry Promotion Act — recognizing ACRO's standing to deliver contract research and methodological services.
First paper published in JMIR (IF 6)
ACRO's first peer-reviewed paper accepted in the Journal of Medical Internet Research (JMIR) — a leading digital-health journal with an impact factor of 6 — marking the company's transition from setup to high-impact evidence generation.
